And the Lord appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice.

A mind and heart set on seeking the truth in humble sincerity will be found by Jesus!
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. – John 14:23
Why are we seeking Him? Is our motive of a pure heart- one seeking truth for truths sake? OR do we wish to gain something for our flesh? Are we obsessed with something, or someone, other than God? Therefore, we seek after Him in hopes He will grant us our desire. Even when we cannot see or will not admit to this attempted flawed selfish use of Our Creator it does not negate the truth of the matter!
Jesus will not come and make His abode with a person who has not made room for Him in sincerity – in Spirit and in Truth!
We are to be a house of sacrifice to the Lord! Our lives, our wants, lusts, desires- no matter their goodness- are to be sacrificed to the will of the Lord! The motto, the creed, of the God captured mind and heart is to be Not my will Lord, but your will be done!
