Like literally getting over yourself!
No longer hung up on getting ahead in the world!
When the web of lies that once entangled your mind is torn down- it’s silk strands no longer able to stick to the corners and crevices of your deepest thoughts and desires!
When Jesus sets you free the Holy Spirit comes to dwell within you. He then sets about to guide, comfort, and teach you in the way!
The light of Christ shines on the dark parts within you! You now seeing your sin become willing to be rid of it, to repent of it, and, as a result, you then call on God for help!
In response to your repentance and call the Holy Ghost comes with His spiritual broom and clears out that space within you that once was dark and full of sin filling it instead with Christ and His life giving light!
Filled with Christ!
As you continue to abide in Him the more space you give way to His love and the more Christlike you become!
It’s no longer about you!
It’s about Him!
The most supernatural natural feeling thing in this world is to die to yourself and live in Christ!
It does not happen instantly!
We really have a lot of baggage and opinions and pains and loves and hang ups and preconceived ideas and lusts and lists to erase, replace, revise, and mend before we reach perfection!
We won’t make it there while we reside in this flesh of dust but it is the joy and goal of the redeemed child of God to work towards the goal of apprehending Christ!
